MineKeep Network Rules

Welcome to MineKeep! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all players, please review and follow these rules at all times.

Rule violations will result in a mute, suspension, or other form of punishment. Report any rule violations or concerning behavior to staff immediately.

1. Community Standards

Toxic Behavior
* No harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind
* No hate speech based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, or other personal characteristics
* No excessive profanity or inappropriate language
* Treat all players with respect regardless of skill level or experience
* No griefing, trolling, or intentionally disruptive behavior

Communication
* Keep chat appropriate for all ages
* No spamming or flooding chat channels
* Keep conversations in English in lobby chat

2. Platform Security

Off-Platform Redirection
* Do not attempt to redirect players to servers or hosting platforms outside of MineKeep
* This includes private messages, signs, books, or any other communication method

Advertising Policy
* You may not advertise servers through lobby chat or direct messages
* You may however send advertisements using the /ad command in the lobby

3. Safety & Legal Compliance

Child Safety
* Players under the age of 13 will be permanently banned
* This includes jokingly claiming to be under 13 (e.g., saying "I'm six years old" as a joke will result in a permanent ban)
* No content or behavior that could endanger minors
* No asking to play with, or seeking out, people based on age (if under 18) or gender
* No sharing of personal information (real names, addresses, phone numbers)
* No inappropriate content involving minors

Prohibited Content
* Sexual or suggestive content is prohibited
* No terrorism-related content, threats, or discussions
* No content promoting illegal activities
* No sharing of malicious links or files
* No doxxing or sharing others' personal information (threats are also considered doxxing)

4. Botting and Automation

* Botting is not allowed
* We determine what constitutes botting at our own discretion
* Console clients, programmatic Minecraft libraries etc. are considered botting
* Automated or high-volume activity are generally considered botting
* If you are playing with several alt accounts simultaneously, have it be no more than 5 accounts in total

5. Server Moderation

* Moderating inside servers is the responsibility of the server owner
* If a server is not adequately moderated, action may be taken against it

6. Punishment Evasion

* Ban, mute, or other forms of punishment evasion are not allowed
* Using VPNs or proxies to connect to MineKeep is prohibited

7. Server Usage

* You may not use your server for other purposes than running a Minecraft server.
* This includes launching DDoS attacks, mining cryptocurrency, and non-Minecraft computation
* Unacceptable use is determined at our discretion

8. Externals
* All standard MineKeep rules apply
* You cannot connect more than one external server to the same backend server.
* If you have multiple servers on a network, it is allowed to have an external for each.
* You cannot direct players to leave MineKeep, or directly join your server address
